Do I need to run any server locally? No. The remote server is hosted at https://waystation.ai/mcp; only the web dashboard is required for configuration.
Can I self‑host the MCP server? The original local server has been deprecated; self‑hosting is not currently supported.
Which AI applications are compatible? Claude, Cursor, Cline, WindSurf, and any MCP‑compatible client can connect.
How is security handled? Endpoints are pre‑authenticated per user, and all communication occurs over HTTPS with optional transport negotiation.
What authentication flows are required for provider apps? Typical OAuth2 flows are managed through the WayStation dashboard; some providers may need additional steps as documented per app.
WayStation connects Claude Desktop, ChatGPT and any MCP host with the productivity tools you use daily such as Notion, Monday, Airtable, Jira etc. through a no-code, secure integration hub.
